What is it? Who can name these shots. (I did no manipulation, other than some white balance adjustment in ACR.)
I’ve been rereading some of the classics in photographic and art criticism; trying to figure where I am going and what directions to take.
I think artist’s statements are probably most often done after the fact, or at best mid-journey. We start out driving and instinctively turn one way or another looking for a destination. This wandering and searching through the wilderness is maybe essential to finding something worth the search. The accidental or incidental discoveries are sometimes the most profound.
